November is American Diabetes Month
November is American Diabetes Month®, a time to communicate the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of proper diabetes control.
The American Diabetes Association uses American Diabetes Month as a chance to focus on the deadly complications of diabetes. The association also emphasizes why the American public should care about diabetes.
Throughout the month, the American Diabetes Association leverages opportunities both nationally and locally to raise awareness about diabetes and its serious complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, blindness and amputations.
If you or a loved one lives with diabetes, don’t hesitate to get involved in this year’s American Diabetes Month and help spread the word about preventing and successfully managing diabetes.
